Bacon comes with the Pepper renderer, but you can use any other renderer that accepts RIB input files.

Introduction

Bacon is a free 3D modeling and animation application for the Mac. Its main features are:

Procedural polygon modeling tools.
It creates RIB output files for Renderman compliant renderers.
It can parse the Renderman shading language. Renderman shaders can be used in materials and lights.
It is free!

Requirements

Apple Macintosh OS X 10.5 or higher (Universal)
Abount 10 MB disk space
A renderer that can read RIB files, such as
- Pepper (included)
- Aqsis
- The DCT web page with the free angel renderer.
- Pixars Photorealistic RenderMan
